Chapter6 PC (Server/Client) Setup

6.1 PC Specification

Confirm that the specification of an installed PC is the following performance equivalent model.
OS
CPU
RAM
HDD
Resolution
CD drive
Card drive
Network

6.2 Setup Items of PC

In order to prevent sending unnecessary packets to the network that includes the VDR/S-VDR
from the VDR/S-VDR Real Time Monitor PC, set the following items to a PC.
And also set the IP address to the PC.
・ Set the IP address
・ Stop automatic synchronization with an Internet time server
・ Stop the Remote Assistance
・ Stop the Automatic Updates
・ Stop the Error Reporting
・ Invalidate the Windows Firewall
・ Set the Power Options

6.2.1 Set the IP address

Set the IP address to the installed PC.
Shows the assignment of the IP addresses in Table 6.2-1.

※1:Even if IP Address already is assigned to Server PC and Client PC by user LAN,
please add to registration of the above IP Address.
If the IP address automatically is assigned by DHCP in the user LAN, cancel the
DHCP. And register an unused fix IP address in the user LAN and add above IP
address.
