Common Radio Features

Selectable Power Level

This feature lets you select the power level at which your radio will
transmit. The radio will always turn on to the preprogrammed default
setting. This feature must be preprogrammed by a qualified radio
technician.
Select L L L L O O O O W W W W for a shorter transmitting distance and to conserve
power.
Select H H H H I I I I G G G G H H H H for a longer transmitting distance.

Use the Menu

Press U to find P P P P W W W W R R R R .

Press D, E, or F directly
below P P P P W W W W R R R R . The display shows
the current power level (
along with L L L L O O O O W W W W and H H H H I I I I G G G G H H H H .

Press D, E, or F
directly below the desired
power level (L L L L O O O O W W W W or H H H H I I I I G G G G H H H H ).
Note: To exit at any time, press

Use the Preprogrammed Transmit Power Level Switch

Press the TX Power Level
switch. The power level is set to
Low.

switch again. The power level
is set to High.
