CONNECTING AND CHARGING THE BATTERY The ET-550 comes with a recharge- able nickel-cadmium battery installed in the handset. USING THE PAGING/ INTERCOM FEATURES When a call is not in progress, you can use the ET-550 as a two-way pager and intercom between the base and the handset. This is useful if the handset is away from the base and you want to locate it, or if you want to have a conversation between the handset and the base. -
