CD titles cannot be searched.
Is "Initial Setup--Gracenote
Database--Version Information"
(the version display) normal?
GNDB error (damage or loss)
Is "GNDB B, GNDB U"
(the version display) on the version
information screen normal?
Abnormality in the GNDB backup file.
Redownload GNDB.
After redownloading of
GNDB, is the version displayed in
"Version Information"?
Abnormality in the HDD, or file-system error.
Perform an HDD check.
Is the HDD normal as a
result of the check?
Failure in the HDD. After replacement
of the HDD, redownload the DB.

The database (DB) is normal. Download the firmware again.
Restore the database from the backup data then restart the system.
After restarting, does the
system operate normally?
File-system error. Initialize the HDD.
After initialization, does the
system operate normally?
