Before Getting In

Be sure the windows, outside mirrors,
l
and outside lights are clean.
Inspect inflation pressures and
l
condition of tyres.
Look under the vehicle for any sign of
l
fluid leaks.
If you plan to back up, make sure
l
nothing is in your way.
NOTE
Engine oil, engine coolant, brake/clutch
fluid, washer fluid, and other fluid
levels should be inspected daily,
weekly, or at refuelling, depending on
the fluid. See Maintenance, Section 8.

Before Starting the Engine

After Getting In

Are all doors closed?
l
Is the seat adjusted properly?
l
Are the inside and outside mirrors
l
adjusted?
Is everyone's seat belt fastened?
l
Check all gauges.
l
Check all warning lights when the
l
ignition is switched ON.
Release the parking brake and make
l
sure the brake warning light goes off.
Always be thoroughly familiar with your
Mazda.
