Thoroughly clean the thermal material from the surfaces of the system board components (1)(3) and
the heat sink (2)(4) each time the heat sink is removed. Replacement thermal material is included with
the heat sink and system board spare part kits.

UMA graphics models: Loosen the four captive screws on the heat sink following the sequence stamped
on the heat sink (1), and then remove the heat sink from the system board (2).
CAUTION:
Take extreme care when removing the heat sink and fan assembly. The heatpipe is very
fragile and can be easily damaged and bent during removal.
