Usethe
power tool, accessories and tool bits etc., in accordance with
these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the
work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from
those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
SERVICE
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
Follow instructions in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of
unauthorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance instructions may create
a risk of shock or injury.
SPECiFiC SAFETY RULES FOR SHEET SANDER
= Hold sanders by insulated gripping surfaces, because the sandpaper
may contact its own cord. Cutting a "live" wire may make exposed metal
parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.
= A suitable breathing respirator must be worn while sanding lead paint,
some woods and metal to avoid breathing the harmful/toxic dust or air.
= Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask when sanding, especially
sanding over-head.
= The machine is not suitable for wet sanding.
= Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a
vice is held more secure than by hand.
= Make sure the sandpaper is not contacting the workpiece before the on/off
rocker switch is in the ON position.
= Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool only when hand-held.
