Shift range positions
■ Sequential mode
Sequential mode allows the driver to select gears based on driving conditions.
NOTE: Downshifting increases power going uphill, or increases engine braking going
downhill or stopping.
During normal driving conditions, always drive in "D" position for best fuel economy.

P Parking and engine starting
R Reverse position
N Neutral position
D Normal driving position
S Sequential mode driving
Switching out of "P" position can only be per-
formed while the brake pedal is depressed.
Move the shift lever to the "S" position.
Upshifting : move the lever to the "+" side
Downshifting : move the lever to the "-" side
1 through 6 gear can be selected.

ment cluster.
