METAL TRIM CARE . .. The bright metal trim
on your Falcon should be washed occasionally,
rinsed with clear water, and then wiped dry with a
clean cloth. A mild soap can be used if the parts
are very Dirty. Rust or salt corrosion on the chrome
parts may be removed with FoMoCo Chrome
Cleaner, used sparingly. Don 't scour the bright
metal with steel wool or polish it with strong abra-
sive materials. FoMoCo Chrome Protector, available
in an aerosol spray can, will help keep the chrome
in excellent condition in all kinds of weather.
CLEANING THE UPHOLSTERY AND INTE-
RIO R TRI M ...
Your Falcon's interior should be
cleaned at least once a month to keep it in good
condition. Most loose dust and dirt can be removed
with a whisk broom or a vacuum cleaner. Vinyl

plastic surfaces that are dusty ca n be cleaned with
a damp cloth.
Wash the vinyl with warm water and a mild soap,
and wipe it dry. If it's badly soiled or stained,
clean it with FoMoCo I nterior Trim Cleaner. If
you're going to use other types of clea ning fluids on
your Falcon's upholstery or interior trim, be sure
that they're recommended for use on vinyl surfaces.
WHITE SIDEWALL TIRE CARE . .. Dirty white
sidewall tires can usually be cleaned satisfactorily
with a cloth dipped in mild soapy water. If the
tires become very dirty or scuffed, clean th em with
FoMoCo Whitewall Tire Cleaner. Follow the direc-
tions on the co nta iner, and rinse the tires with
plenty of clean water when you're through.
