5.3 What can I do if my phone can't install an application?

5.4 How do I install on or move applications to the
microSD card?
By default, third-party applications are installed to your phone's internal storage. The default
installation location cannot be changed. However, you can move some third-party
applications to the microSD card.
After you move an application to the microSD card, if you uninstall, remove, or format the
microSD card, the application will be unavailable.
Go to the Settings screen, touch Manage apps, touch the application you want to move, and
touch Move to SD card.

Download applications from web pages using the browser on your phone.
Download applications using a computer, and copy them to your phone.
Your phone supports third-party applications in APK format only. Make sure the
application you are trying to download is in this format.
If the application is not from Google's Play Store, go to the Settings screen, touch
Security, select the Unknown sources check box, and touch OK. Then reinstall the
application.
The third-party application may not be compatible with your phone.
