1 Introduction

This document provides general information on Release 9.0 of the 3600 and 3600+ MainStreet

Multiservice Bandwidth Managers, Generic x119, load H0-30. This document does not

describe the features supported by Generic x119; these can be found in Release Description

01RD0023.

Release 9.0 of the 3600 and 3600+ MainStreet Multiservice Bandwidth Managers supports

all the functionality supported in Release 8.0. Load x119-H0-00 introduced the additional

functionality listed below and specified in 01RD0023:

• GSLC-12 and GSLC-16 line cards: these cards provide the same functionality as the

28LC line card but use G.SHDSL technology instead of HDSL, offering high-speed,

symmetrical data access (up to 2 Mb/s) over a single unconditioned copper pair

• GSLC-12 line card is supported on the 3600 MainStreet and 3600+ MainStreet

platforms

• GSLC-16 line card is supported on the 3600+ MainStreet platform

• support for 3

GSLC-12 and GSLC-16 line cards

• full 5620 NM manageability of the Symmetricom GoWide NTU

• PRI RJ45 distribution panel variant 90-9634-01: supports 27LC2, 27LC3, 28LC,

GSLC-12 and GSLC-16 line cards
