Issue 01 (2014-03-29)
When you are not using the phone, press the power key to turn off the screen.
Set the screen timeout period to a small value under Settings > Display > Sleep.
Lower the screen brightness under Settings > Display > Brightness.
Under Settings, turn off WLAN and Bluetooth when you do not need to use them.
Disable data services: On the Home screen, touch Settings > Mobile networks, and
cancel Enable always-on mobile data.
Shut down GPS: On the Home screen, touch Settings > Location access. Cancel GPS
satellites.
On the Home screen, touch Settings > Power-saving management to choose a
power-saving scheme.
Disable the data service when you do not need it.
Disable data services if your phone is connected to a WLAN network.
Access Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) sites instead of World Wide Web (WWW)
websites.
Disable data services: On the Home screen, touch Settings > Mobile networks, and
cancel Enable always-on mobile data.
Turn off data synchronization in the background: Go to Settings and touch More > Data
usage. Touch the menu key and clear Auto-sync data.
Close background applications you do not need. Go to Settings and touch Manage
apps > Running. Select the application you want to close, and touch Stop.
Uninstall unwanted applications to increase your phone's available storage. When
available storage is insufficient, the phone runs slowly.
