Navigating the Web Browser

When you use the Web Browser, some keys
on your phone operate differently than on
a normal phone call.These keys are
explained below. The Web Browser
presents on-screen items in one of the
following ways:
text or numeric input
links (embedded in content)
numbered options (some options
may not be numbered)
simple text
You can act on the options or links by
making use of the soft keys.The soft keys are located below
the bottom line of the display.
Here's how the keys work in the Web Browser:
1. OK / Soft Keys: This is left or right soft key.When you

slide this key left it will be a left soft key, or slide
right it will be a right soft key. If you press
select the highlighted item.
2. OK/Navigation key: Use the navigation key (

scroll to and select brower options by sliding left,
right, up or down. The currently selected option is
indicated by " ". You can also use the navigation keys
to move the cursor when editing text.

3. Volume Key:
Allows you to scroll up or down by a page.
4. SEND Key: Press this key to receive a call while in a
SEND
Web Browser session. For more information on this
feature see "Receiving a phone call while in the Web
Browser" on page 105.
5. CLR Key: This key performs two functions:

Backs you up in the browser. Pressing it once
backs you up one page. Pressing and holding it
backs you up to the Home page.
Clears out entered text or numbers.When enter-
ing numbers or text, press to clear the last num-
ber, letter, or symbol. Press and hold to completely
clear the input field.
6. Numbered Keys 0 - 9: If the items on a page are num-
bered, you can use these keys to select them.
7. Asterisk Key: This is the shift key. Press before enter-

8. 0 Key: Enters a 0. Moves to the next word in T9

9. Pound Key: This is the space key. Press to insert a

10. END Key: Exits the Web Browser and returns the
