The USB technology Devices are fully hot-pluggable to the USB-enabled computer.

The SuperDisk drive with USB interface is able to be attached to host computer and

used without turning off or rebooting the computer.

5.3 POWER SAVING (Standby Mode)

When the drive waits for a command from the Host for more than four seconds,

then the drive enters Power Save Mode. Laser and Spindle motor stop.

Restart is automatic when the Host Command is acknowledged.
