    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D KEY FOB Locking And Unlocking The Doors And Liftgate Lock The Doors And Liftgate • Push and release the LOCK button on the RKE transmitter to lock all doors and lift- gate.

To remove the emergency key, slide the button at the top of the Key Fob sideways with your thumb and then pull the key out with your other hand.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D WARNING! • Never leave children alone in a vehicle, or with access to an unlocked vehicle. Allowing children to be in a vehicle unattended is dangerous for a number of reasons. A child or others could be severely injured or killed.
  • Page 15 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D To Unlock From The Driver or Passenger Side: • With a valid Keyless Enter-N-Go™ Key Fob located outside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5 m) of the driver or passenger side door handle, grab either front door handle to un- lock the door automatically.
  • Page 16 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D • After pushing the Keyless Enter-N-Go™ LOCK button, you must wait two seconds before you can lock or unlock the vehicle using the door handle. This is done to allow you to check if the vehicle is locked by pulling the door handle, without the vehicle reacting and unlocking.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D CHILD RESTRAINTS Children 12 years or younger should ride properly buckled up in a rear seat, if available. According to crash statistics, children are safer when properly restrained in the rear seats rather than in the front.

Center Seat LATCH If a child restraint installed in the center position blocks the seat belt webbing or buckle for the outboard position, do not use that outboard position.

If your vehicle is equipped with adjustable rear head restraints, raise the head restraint, and where possible, route the tether strap under the head restraint and between the two posts.
