7.2 HDD Manager:

The Triax ST-HD527CI has PVR functions. To utilize these functions, an external USB memory
device is required, (not included). This device is connected via the USB connector on the rear
panel of the receiver.
7.2.1 Functionality
When an external memory device is installed, the Triax ST-HD527CI is able to record
programmes. The user can record a satellite programme while watching a Terrestrial programme
or record a Terrestrial programme while watching a Satellite programme.
7.2.2 Recording
A programme can be recorded using the following methods;
Pressing the "REC" button on the RCU while viewing a programme will start the
recording.
A timer can be set in the "Timer Reservation" menu. A recording will start and stop
according to the information entered.
A recording can be cancelled by pressing the Stop, "■", button on the RCU, or the
recording will stop automatically according to the "Timer Reservation" information.
7.2.3 Viewing a recording
To list what programmes have been recorded, and to select a recorded programme to view:
Select "Channel Manager" from the Main Menu.
Select "HDD Manager", the following screen is displayed:
The screen displays the following information:

A list of recorded programmes
o
Details of the recorded programme - file size, duration, date, time and hard drive status.

A preview screen with the following functions controlled from the RCU:


Fast rewind

Stop
