PC system requirements

– Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP
– Pentium Class 300MHz processor or
higher
– CD–ROM drive
– USB port
– Free hard disk space: 100 MB for the
software
Quick installation of the wireless
connection to a PC server
This starts the installation of the wireless
device with the PC server.
Do not connect the wireless USB
adapter immediately! You will be asked
during the installation process to
connect it.

Place the unit as close as possible to the PC.
Note: In order to ensure a good wireless
connection avoid placing the unit close to
microwave ovens and large metal objects.

Switch on your PC and insert the installation
disc.
Note: Do not use the
on the PC screen during the installation process.

The installation guide will appear
automatically. If it does not, go to the
CD-ROM drive in Windows Explorer and
double click on the SETUP.exe.Then
continue as follows:
– Select your desired language from the list.
– Then follow the installation steps
prompted by the screen to install the
wireless USB adapter driver, the
Musicmatch Media software and the
network setup.

Notes:The installation process also includes
the installation of the Musicmatch Media
software. Please use this software for your
PC LINK application. Musicmatch Media
software is supposed to support the wireless
PC LINK application, but if you have problems
please use the software version from the
supplied CD-ROM.
Switch on the unit and press PC LINK A.

During the network setup you will be asked
to go to the install mode: Press and hold
PC LINK A for 5 seconds.
PC LINK is displayed and INSTALLING
is scrolled.The unit searches for a
connection to the PC.

If no connection is found within
10 minutes:
PC LINK is displayed and CHECK
INSTALLATION is scrolled.
If during the search STOP
pressed or the installation disc has
not been installed properly:
PC LINK is displayed and ABORTED is
scrolled.
If the installation has been finished
successfully:
PC LINK and COMPLETED are displayed.
The demo track from the installation disc
starts to play automatically.
