Your email application
Your Centro 690 includes the VersaMail
application (called Email in Applications
view). You can also access web-based
email, like Yahoo! Mail or Hotmail, from the
web browser on your Centro.
You must activate data services on
NOTE
your network operator account before you
can use email on your Centro 690.
Email provider The service you

use to send and receive email. Your email
provider's name appears between the @
symbol and the dot in your email address.
Gmail, for example, is an email provider; so
are AOL and Earthlink.
Email application It's not an email
KEY TERM
provider, but an application on your
Centro 690, that gives you a way to view and
manage email. An email application just
transfers messages from an account that you
have already set up with a provider.
