To pair a device with your phone

a passcode, if required.
To save power

On.
This reduces power consumption when you use
a single Bluetooth device. Turn it off when using
several Bluetooth devices.
To pair with a Bluetooth headset
Menu } Settings } Connectivity

Handsfree.

Infrared port

The infrared port in your phone can be used to exchange
information with another device equipped with infrared.
To turn on the infrared port in your phone

} Infrared port } On

To connect two devices

Turn on infrared in both devices.
