Display
(Menu 6-2)
The Display feature enables you to:
• set a banner message
• set the length of time for the backlight
• change the display language.
• set the current date and time.
• set the external clock type.
• turn the service light on or off.
Banner
(Menu 6-2-1)
This option allows you to set a banner message to be
displayed at the bottom of the display in the standby
mode.
To change the banner:
1. If necessary, press
2. Enter a new banner message using the
alphanumeric keys.

Backlight
(Menu 6-2-2)
You have several options for setting how the LCD
backlight operates.
When the folder is closed, the backlight remains off,
thus conserving battery power. When the folder is
open, the length of time that the backlight remains
on can be set as explained below. Remember that
backlight use drains your battery faster.
The following options are available:
7/15/30/40 Seconds: The backlight remains on for
7/15/30/40 seconds after the last key is pressed or
you open the folder. Then it starts dimming and turns
off after 53/45/30/20 seconds.
Language
(Menu 6-2-3)
You can change the language of the menu display.
Select either English or Chinese.
