Canceling dialing or ending a call
Select ¢ in the display using the
X
controller (slide VÆ, XVY or turn cVd)
and press W to confirm.
Press the ~ button on Audio 20 or on

the multifunction steering wheel.

Making a call via speed dial

The speed dial list contains stored phone
book entries ( page 46).

Option 1:
Hold down one of the number keys for

longer than two seconds.
Option 2:
Call up the telephone basic menu:

Select Call Lists using the controller

(slide VÆ, XVY or turn cVd) and press
W to confirm.
Select Speed Dial Preset List

The speed dial list appears.
Select the storage location and press W to

confirm.
Irrespective of the option chosen, the
telephone basic menu appears and
displays the selected entry. This initiates
dialing.

Telephone operation
To switch off: select Mic Off
controller (slide VÆ, XVY or turn cVd)
and press W to confirm.
The message: The microphone is off
appears briefly.
If the microphone is switched off, the Q
symbol appears in the main area. The
person you are calling cannot hear any
sounds from inside your vehicle.
To switch on: select Mic On
W to confirm.
The message: The microphone is on
appears briefly.
The Q symbol disappears.
This function is not supported by all
mobile phones.
During an active call, press the respective
keys on the number keypad.
Every character selected will be
transmitted immediately.
To select a character: slide XVY or turn
cVd.
To confirm your selection: press the W
controller.
To send a phone book entry as a DTMF
sequence: select Name by turning cVd the
controller and press W to confirm.
Select the desired phone book entry and
press W to confirm.
The entry is sent as a DTMF character
string.
To return to the call display: select
Back and press W to confirm.
