ohmcableto theANT.Terminal.
Some cable TV companiesoffer "premiumpay channels".Since the signals of these premium pay channelsare scrambled, a cable TV
converter/descrambler i sgenerallyprovidedto thesubscriberbythe cableTV company.
This converter/descrambleris necessary for normalviewing of the scrambledchannels.For more specific instructionson installing cable
TV, consultyour cableTV company.One possible method of utilizing the converter/descramblerprovided by your cable TV companyis
explainedbelow.Pleasenote:An RF switchprovidedwith two inputs (Aand B)is required(notsupplied).

ANTENNAS
Theantennarequirementsfor good colortelevisionreceptionare moreimportantthan those for black & white televisionreception.For this
reason,a good qualityoutdoorantennais stronglyrecommended.
Thefollowingis a briefexplanationof the typeof connectionsthat are providedwith the variousantennasystems.
1.A 75-ohmsystem is generallya round cablewith F-type connectorthat can
easily be attachedto a terminalwithouttools (notsupplied).
2. A 3O0-ohmsystem is a flat "twin-lead"cablethat can be attachedto a 75-ohm
terminalthrougha 300-75-ohmadapter(notsupplied).
