1. Before Starting the Repair Work

Be sure to read the following precautions before starting the repair work.

Precautions on Flash High Voltage Circuit

When separating the FRONT ST CHASSIS. be sure to discharge the MAIN CAPACITOR.
* Discharging resistor: 1 kΩ, approx. 5 W. (See Fig.1)
CAUTION:
Because this is a high-voltage circuit, be careful to avoid electric shock and short-circuits with other components.
