    Turn off power to the Profit Point Point of Sale (POS) terminal. Unplug the AC power to the POS Distribution Box (D-Box) power supply. Remove the scanner and the Metrologic cable from the shipping box. Note: None of the other parts in the shipping box, including the scanner power transformer, will be used with this installation.
