Driving Downhill

When driving downhill, follow these precautions:
1. Avoid steep hills (25° maximum).
2. Shift body weight uphill.
3. Drive straight downhill.
4. Slow down. Excessive speed when traveling downhill can cause
loss of control.
5. Squeeze the brake lever gradually. Applying the brakes too firmly
may cause the rear wheels to lock, which could result in loss of con-
trol.
