To enable your device's Location feature via GPS:

Synchronizing Accounts

Google accounts provide the ability to synchronize
calendar events and Contacts, and corporate accounts
provide the ability to synchronize Contacts. Your device
provides the ability to synchronize data from a variety of
different sources or sites. These accounts include
Google accounts and social sites such as Facebook
and Twitter. You need to add those accounts to the
list.
Manage accounts
To enable the auto-sync feature:
1.

Synchronizing Your Google Account
By default, your device doesn't manage any accounts.
These must be manually added.
To have your device manage an existing Google account:
1.

Add account > Google

Click
Next > Sign in
Note:
If you do not already have a Google account, tap
Create
and follow the onscreen prompts to create your
new account. (See "Creating a Google Account" on
page 113.)

Tap the

fields and enter your information.
