2.1.5 Plastic Carrier & Key Foil ass'y
Use the 'front opening tool' to gently release the plastic
carrier & key foil from the left hand side of the frame.

HEN RAISING THE PLASTIC CARRIER

MUST NOT EXCEED MM AS IT MIGHT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE

BOARD TO BOARD CONNECTOR
Gently raise the plastic carrier & key foil in order to get
closer to the board-to board connector by using the 'front
opening tool' (1).
B
E MOST CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO DISCONNECT THE
- -
BOARD TO BOARD CONNECTOR
While keeping the plastic carrier & key foil in a 2mm raised
position, disconnect the key foil flex film board-to-board
connector by pushing it upwards from the PBA with the use
of the 'flex film assembly tool'.

HECK THAT THE KEY FOIL SWITCH
Remove the plastic carrier & key foil by lifting straight up.
