State changes in a multiple-station system are global — that is, a state
change in one OSx station changes the state for all stations — except under
the following circumstances:
•
State changes on a station with the sysadmin role do not affect other
stations, and vice versa.
State changes on a station set to out_of_service do not affect other
•
stations, and vice versa.
•
When an OSx station transitions to Failed state, typically because an
important process has failed, its state change does not affect other
stations, and vice versa.
