Emergency Alert Settings
1. From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
Settings > Wireless & networks > Emergency Alerts.
2. Press the Left soft key
3. Configure the following options:

Receive alerts: Press the Center soft key
check/uncheck the box next to the options. Press the Left soft key
finished.

Extreme Alert to receive emergency alerts in an extreme emergency situation
(an extraordinary threat to life or property).
•
Severe Alert to receive emergency alerts in a severe emergency situation (a
significant threat to life or property).
•
AMBER Alert to receive alerts related to missing or endangered children.

Cellbroadcast message: Set to On to receive Cell Broadcast messages.

Notification settings:
•
Notifications: Set to On to display a notification when an alert is received.
•
Sound: Set to On to play a notification sound when an emergency alert is
received.
•
Vibrate: Set to On to vibrate the phone when an emergency alert is received.
•
Alert reminder: Set how often your phone alerts you when you receive an
emergency alert. Select from Once, Every 2 minutes, Every 15 minutes, or Off.
•
Speak alert message: Set to On to use the text-to-speech feature when an alert
is received.
