Overview
This chapter contains supplemental instructions needed to install and configure
hardware and software used with the Microsoft Operating System Windows NT
Release 4.0. This information is intended to supplement the more detailed
procedural documents available from Microsoft. This information is not
intended to be the central source of installation and configuration information
for your system. Read this entire chapter along with Microsoft's Windows NT
4.0 installation procedures before starting the installation process.

Configuring RAID
If you have a Disk Array Controller preinstalled on your system, it was
preconfigured at the factory. Refer to your system's User's Guide and to the
AcceleRAID Installation Guide and the Disk Array Controller Installation
Guide and User's Manual for additional information on this option card. If you
need to change the RAID level from the factory setting, you must change the
setting before installing the operating system.

Read the System Release Notes for the latest
CD. To create the required diskettes, perform "Custom Setup" on
CD. Table 3-1 lists the required diskette labels.
