Connecting additional equipment to the TV

You can connect a wide range of audio and video equipment to the rear of your TV as shown in the following illustration.
To view the input signals of connected equipment, please follow the instructions below:
1. Using the illustrations above, connect your equipment to the appropriate TV socket.
2. Press the
button repeatedly on the remote control until the correct input symbol for your equipment appears on the TV
screen (see table below):

3. Switch on the connected equipment. The picture from this equipment (if any) will appear on the screen.
4. Press
to return to the normal TV screen.

Plug in your external audio equipment to the output sockets E on the rear of the TV.

If you cannot see a picture from your connected equipment, refer to the 'Using the Features menu'
section of this instruction manual and alter the setting of the 'AV1 Source' option. This Component
video is for Standard Definition source only i.e. 625i, 525i.
If you cannot see a picture from your connected equipment, refer to the 'Using the Features menu'
section of this instruction manual and alter the setting of the 'AV2 Source' option.
Applicable for HD source (i.e. 1080i 50/60, 720p 50/60), DVD Progressive source, 525p and 625p.
