Icemaker and cold water dispenser

1
Before using the icemaker and cold water dispenser
The icemaker can be connected to drinking water source (Program A) if a fi lter is installed or connected
with bottled mineral water (Program B) after a water pump is installed.
The water tube of necessary length, usually 12 meters, should be free from bend after being inserted
in place. Excessively longer water tube may reduce water pressure and, as a result, the capacity
of ice making.
The water tube should be away from any heat resource.
The water tubes should be installed and tested by authorized technical personnel.
When the appliance is put into operation for the fi rst time, keep the Cold Water button pressed every
1 minute (do not press the button for extended period or otherwise the water valve may become too
hot.) to supply cold water into the tank of refrigerator/freezer compartment until cold water is supplied.
Program A:
Water supply tube installation
Pressure of the cold water supplied to the automatic icemaker is between 0.15~0.85Mpa.
Since the purifi er does not function for sterilization of any bacterium, it is strongly recommended that
drinking water be used for ice making.
Program B:
The water pump requires dedicated electric socket and earth connection.
Unauthorized water pump disassembly and refi tting, water piping rearrangement and repair are
prohibited.
Do not store or use infl ammable materials, such as gasoline, near the pump to avoid fi re hazards.
The water pump can only be used for mineral water supply at room temperature, and cannot be used
for chemical materials, fruit juice, beverages containing fruit granules, cafe or high temperature liquid.
Unplug the water pump if it is placed out off service for an extended period.
Regularly verify if the water tank has suffi cient water.
Protect the water pump from strong pressure, vibration or impact.
Place the water pump and mineral water bottle on a solid and fl at surface.
Unlid the water bottle from the center and cover the bottle with a dust guard. Insert a hose all the way
down to the bottom of the bottle, then guide the other end of the same hose to inlet of the pump. Take
another piece of hose with one end to outlet of the pump and the other end to the inlet valve at rear
side of the appliance bottom.

Precautions
Never install the icemaker water tube in an area with a temperature below 0°C to avoid freezing of the
water tube.
Turn on the valve to fl ush the water tube for leak test of water tube joints. Turn off the valve when the
water becomes clear.
The icemaker will start ice cube making when internal temperature reaches or is below -15°C. (First
loads of cubed ices are not potable)
