Formatting an SD Memory Card

Follow these steps to format an SD Memory Card for use with SD-Jukebox.
CAUTION
• When an SD Memory Card is formatted, tracks checked out using SD-Jukebox as well as
all other data are erased. Before formatting an SD Memory Card, be sure to check its
contents.
• Only use the procedure shown below to format an SD Memory Card. Check out and
playback may not work properly if other formatting procedures are used.
Click
<Setting Screen> is displayed.
Click the [SD setting] tab.
Click [Format].
When the confirmation screen appears, click [Yes].
• Formatting starts.
• A message will notify you when formatting is complete.
CAUTION
Do not remove the SD Memory Card until the card access lamp is extinguished on the
player or USB Reader/Writer.
