Checking in tracks from an SD Memory
Card to the PC
When you check in a track from an SD Memory Card, the track is returned to the
PC. Use the same PC as you used for checking out the track.
Connect an SD Memory Card.
On the <Library Screen>, click [SD(#:)] to display the contents.
# represents the SD Memory Card drive ID.
Right-click on the tracks you want to check in, and then
click "Checkin."
CAUTION
Do not remove the SD Memory Card until the card access lamp is extinguished on the
player or USB Reader/Writer.
NOTE
• If you check in a track that is on multiple playlists, it will be deleted from all of the playlists
on the SD Memory Card.
• If the track has been deleted from the PC's [HDD] library, you will not be able to check it
in. In this case, the music data itself will be deleted.
• When a track is deleted from the SD Memory Card's playlist, it is simply deleted from the
playlist; it is not checked in.
