Text Messaging

Send text messages
1. On the Home screen, press the
Messages
2. Select .
3. Press the Menu key.
Compose SMS Text
4. Scroll to and select
To
5. At the field, perform one
of the following:
Type the phone number, OR
n
Type the contact's name or part
n
of the contact's name.
Select the contact, OR
Press the trackball. Select

Choose Contact and then
scroll to and select the contact.
You can send to up to
10 recipients.

6. Scroll down to the text entry field and type your message.

Read text messages
Your device notifies you when you have a new text message. You
will also see the Envelope icon near the top left corner of your screen.
To access messages in your Inbox:
1. On the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Scroll to and select SMS And MMS.
3. Scroll to the message and press the trackball to view.
To delete, press the Menu key. Select Delete and then select
Delete again.
Separate charges may apply to send/receive domestic/international text messages.
