7.1 In troduction
The HG552a supports 802.11b/g and provides wireless networking and interconnection
at home. To access the WLAN through the wireless data card on your
to activate the wireless network function on the HG552a. Therefore, you do not need to
connect any network cable, access the Internet through the WLAN.

7.3 Configuri
7.3.1 F unction
The HG552a supports the multi-service set identifier (MSSID) function. You can
configure encryption parameters separately for each service set identifier (SSID).

Description
Indicates the ID of a service area in the wireless network.
The initial value is provided by the service provider.
It is used to specify the security parameter of the curre

authentication modes, such as WEP, WPA-PSK, and
