Chapter 2 Preparations

Preparing for Installation and Removal
Prepare for installation or removal of a component according to the following procedure:
1.
Shut down the OS or press POWER/SLEEP Switch
to turn off the power of the workstation.
POWER/SLEEP LED will go off.
2.
Disconnect the power cord from power outlet, and
then remove it from the AC inlet on the workstation.
3.
Remove all the cables from the rear of workstation.
4.
If the chassis is locked, unlock it.
5.
Remove the stabilizers according to Chapter 2 (2.1.1 Preparation for Installation).
6.
Lay down the workstation so that its cover faces upward.
7.
Remove the three screws to remove the cover.
