Slow Motion
1
Press k (pause) during play to pause the
videotape. Then press i / g to start slow
motion. Sound will be mute during slow motion.
Slow motion will stop automatically after five minutes
to prevent damage to the tape.

Press PLAY B to return to normal playback.
Forward and Reverse Searching
(SP/LP/SLP)

During videotape play, press and release i /
g or j / h. A fast forward or reverse pic-
ture search will begin.

To return to normal play, press PLAY B .
Super High Speed Searching (LP/SLP)
1
During tape play, press i / g or j / h,
then press again. The TV/VCR/DVD will search the
tape in high speed.
Press i / g or j / h repeatedly to switch
between regular and high speed searching.

To return to normal play, press PLAY B.
Viewing a Still Picture

During tape play, press k (pause).
A still picture will appear on the screen. The picture
advances each time you press k (pause).
After a tape is paused for five minutes, play will stop
automatically. This prevents damage to the tape and
TV/VCR/DVD.

If the still picture vibrates vertically, stabilize
the picture by pressing CH.

To release the still picture and return to nor-
mal play, press PLAY B.
