WriteMTKHDCPKey Instructions(write Project name, S/N and HDCP KEY)
Use USB port connecting PC & MT537x Board via ISP board.
Use Desktop PC or
Notebook USB Port
USB Cable
Introduction
Before running program, computer needs to install "Microsoft .NET framework 2.0", you can access
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&DisplayLang=en
select the language for downloading.
Then, it needs following file to run WriteMTKHDCPKey program:
1.
WriteMTKHDCPKey.exe
2.
WriteMTKHDCPKey.ini
3.
FactoryCommand.ini
Then you must set two key file directories, main and backup directories; they contain the encryption HDCP key files.
(Please see "HDCP key file directory setting")
After run the program, WriteMTKHDCPKey, if no error, it will show below:
Com port and baud rate
Yellow color means port is close
Green color means port open
There are four buttons:

Running sequences
After pressing
button, you start to scan barcode string:
F3 ISP Board
(USB to RS232)
RS232 Cable
program
Config saved file
Enter factory mode command
Perform writing HDCP key process
Configure some settings, e.g. RS232 COM port, EEPROM address
Send factory command
Exit factory
