Instructions for Connecting the Power Cords

If there is no UPS or other external backup power system
Connect "AC INPUT A" and "AC INPUT B" to ordinary power outlets. (Although
you can connect just "AC INPUT A" or "AC INPUT B," connecting both is
recommended for improved reliability of the S-4000-SP).
If a UPS or other external backup power system separate
from the ordinary power supply is available
Connect "AC INPUT A" to an ordinary power outlet.
Connect "AC INPUT B" to the external backup power supply.

How to Use the Power Cord Clamps

Use the following procedure to secure the power plugs.

Insert the power cord into the AC INPUT on the rear panel.

Lower the power cord clamp to secure the power cord plug.
Turning the Power On and Off
Be sure to use only the power
cords supplied with the S-
4000-SP to connect the power
supply.
