No Picture, No Video
The TV will not turn on_
The TV turns off automaticaiiy_
There is no pictureivideo_
• Make sure the AC power cord is securely plugged into the wail outlet and the
TV_
• Make sure the wail outlet is working_
• Try pressing the POWER button on the TV to make sure the prob em is not
the remote contro _If the TV turns on, refer to 'Remote contro
does not work'

• Ensure the Sleep _mer is set to Off in the System menu_
• If your PC is connected to the TV, check your PC's power settings_
• Make sure the AC power cord is pugged
in secure y to the wa outlet and the
TV_
• When you are watching TV programs from an antenna, the TV wil turn off after
10 o 15 minutes if there is no signa _
• Check the cable connections_ (Remove and reconnect all cables connected to
the TV and external devices)_
• Set your external device's (Cable/Sat Box, DVD, Nu-ray etc) video outputs to
match the connections to the TV input
For examp e, if an externa device's
output is HDMI, it shoud be connected to an HDMI input on the TV_
• Make sure your connected devices are powered on_
• Be sure to seect the correct source on the TV by pressing the SOlJRCE button
on the remote contro _
Reboot the connected device by disconnecting and then reconnecting the
device's power cable_
Antenna(Air / Cable) Connection
The TV is not receiving all
• Make sure the coaxial cable is connected secureiy_

• Run Auto Program to add available channels to the channel list There are 3
options, STD, HRC, and IRC Most cabe systems use STD_
• Verify the antenna is positioned correctly_
No Caption on digita channes_
• Check the Caption Setup menu_ Try changing Caption Mode Service! to CC!_
• Some channes may not have caption data_
The picture is distorted:
• The compression of video contents may cause picture distortion, especia y in
macroblock, error, sma bock,
programs with fast moving pictures such as sports programs and action movies_

• A weak signa can cause picture distortion_ This is not a TV prob em_

• Remove the eft and right audio connections from the set-top-box_ If the
bars and buzzing noise from the
buzzing stops, this indicates that the set-top-box has a grounding issue_ Rep ace
