Lower anchorages
To raise head
restraint, pull it up.
To lower, push it
down while pressing
release button.

To disconnect connector from the buckle, insert a key or other hard, pointed
object into the slot in the buckle.

To lower anchor height,
pull the release knob
and slide anchor down.
To raise anchor height,
slide anchor up.
Lower anchorages (bars) are provided for installing
child restraint system.
They are located behind the cover on which the mark
is indicated.

Folding down rear seatback
To fasten:
1
Pull seatbelt out of the recessed compartment
located in the ceiling above the cargo area.

Pass seatbelt through the belt guide.
3
Connect webbing end to connector.

Fasten seatbelt in the usual way.

Armrest
FORESTER
To fold rear seatback
down, pull knob and
pull seatback down.
To lower armrest,
pull the top edge of
the armrest.
