    Tests and Diagnostics This chapter explains how to install the Diagnostic Test programs and use them to test the functions of the tablet’s hardware modules. Driver Installation For installing the test program, you should install the ADB driver program for the tablet to the Windows OS first.

    Starting Test After installing the test program, you may see the shortcut icon of the test program on the desktop of the tablet. You can run it to start your test now. Figure 4-12. GPS Test Press the icon GPS, program will test the GPS function with NMEA sentences, and if the GPS function is OK, this test will be finished in 20 seconds.
  • Page 98 NOTE: NOTE: The GPS test can be run well in most of the environments, but we suggest you doing this test as well as in a spacious place such as the playground and so on. If environment not available, you can just put the tablet near the windows and run the GPS test.

The tester need use the finger to touch all the spaces slowly, or this item will not pass.

    Exporting Log and Writing SN This chapter explains how to use the “Log Tool” to get the log files of the device information from the tablet and use the SN writer tool to write or change the SN information of the tablet. When your tablet appears some error, you can use the Log Tool to catch and export the running log files, then get some information from them.
