Mainte The warning lights (power indicator, lamp indicator and temperature warning indicator) on the projector indicate problems inside the projector. If a problem occurs, either the temperature warning indicator or the lamp indicator will illuminate red, and the projector will enter standby mode. After the projector has entered standby mode, follow the procedures given below.

Controlling the Projector by a Computer When the RS-232C terminal on the projector is connected to a computer with a DIN-D-sub RS- 232C adaptor (optional accessory: AN-A1RS) and an RS-232C serial control cable (cross type, commercially available), the computer can be used to control the projector and check the status of the projector.

RS-232C Specifications and Command Settings Computer control A computer can be used to control the projector by connecting an RS-232C serial control cable (cross type, sold separately) to the projector. (See page 27 for connection.) Communication conditions Set the serial port settings of the computer to match that of the table. Signal format: Conforms to RS-232C standard.
