TO REPLACE NEEDLE THREAD TENSION UNIT

Tension release arm (E)
Tension release plate (F)
Needle thread
tension unit (G)
[ To remove ]:
1. Loosen the screws (A), (B), (C) and (D)
on page 4 (it is not necessary to remove
the connectors)
2. Remove the face plate.
3. Remove the setscrews (A) and (B).
Remove the thread guide cover (C).
4. Loosen the hexagonal socket screw (D).
5. Remove the tension release plate (F)
from the tension release arm (E).
Remove the needle thread tension unit
(G).
[ To attach ]:
Reverse the above procedure.
