Section 5: Menu of Software-Controlled Features
705P and 708P speakers include software-enabled features that can be accessed and adjusted using the MENU
key, the ROTARY CONTROL, along with the ENTER and BACK Keys.
To select and set the values of a particular feature:
Press the MENU key. Rotate the ROTARY CONTROL to view the desired feature in the display.
Press the ENTER key to select the feature.
Use the ROTARY CONTROL and ENTER key to select the desired parameter and set its value.
Use the BACK key to return to the previous menu item.
Example: Turn the ROTARY CONTROL clockwise to reduce the amount of speaker trim and thereby increase the
speaker volume. Turn the ROTARY CONTROL counter-clockwise to increase the amount of INPUT TRIM, thereby
attenuating the speaker volume. While viewing this screen, pressing the MENU key displays the complete list of
software controlled features
Pressing the MENU Key consecutive times toggles the display from the currently selected function to the
INPUT TRIM screen and vice versa. When the controls have not been used for a period of time, the "toggle
function" will time-out and successive presses of the MENU key will no longer return the display to the
previously used feature. The length of time can be specified in the UTILITY/ MENU TIME screen.
