11.2 MMI Tests

After the Y300 is powered on, enter *#*#2846579#*#* using the dialer to enter MMI test
mode. Then select MMITEST and press the volume down key to start the MMI tests. You
can touch the menu key to cancel the current test, the volume down key to enter the next test,
the back key to return to the previous test, and the home key to exit the text mode and switch
to the home screen. You must complete the tests one by one. After all tests are complete, a list
is generated to show the test results.
MMI tests include:

Failed tests are on the screen. You can re-test the failed items separately.

11.3 Voice Call Test

To perform a voice call test:
Step 1 Install a USIM/SIM card and the battery on the Y300.

Board test: The Y300 directly proceeds to the next test if the board test is successful.
microSD card test: The message "No SD card available" is displayed if the microSD card
is not inserted. Press the volume down key to proceed to the next test.
Dialer test: Touch keys according to instructions on the screen and press the volume
down key to proceed to the next test.
LCD test: Perform operations to display the white screen, black screen, tri-color, LCD
backlight, and LED in sequence. Observe whether the LCD is normal and press the
volume down key to proceed to the next test.
Dialer LED test: Check that the dialer light blinks.
Camera test: Check that the preview function is normal and press the volume up key to
verify that the camera flash operates properly.
Touch panel test: Touch the black spot area according to instructions on the screen.
Approaching light test: Shield the approaching light hole to check whether a mobile
phone icon is displayed on the screen.
Motor test: Check that the motor vibrates properly and whether noises occur.
Speaker test: Play an audio clip to check that the speaker operates properly.
Mobile phone microphone loopback test: Record and play an audio clip according to
instructions on the screen and check that the playback is normal.
Mobile phone headset loopback test: Record and play an audio clip according to
instructions on the screen and check that the playback is normal.
FM test: Insert the headset and perform operations according to instructions on the
screen.
Headset wire control test: Insert and remove the headset and microphone to check that
the headset and microphone operate properly.
Bluetooth test: Enable Bluetooth on other mobile phones and check that the Y300 can
search the mobile phones successfully.
Gravity sensor test: Adjust the Y300's direction to check that the data of each sensor axis
can be obtained.
Wi-Fi test: Check whether the Y300 displays the Wi-Fi information.
