WARNING! To prevent unintentional start
during transport, maintenance or repair
work:
For battery powered models LC 141VLi
and LC 141Li, turn the safety key to "0",
remove the battery and wait at least 5
seconds.

Introduction

This section describes how to assemble and adjust the
product.
WARNING! Before you assemble the
product, read the safety chapter and the
assembly instructions.

To assemble the handle

1. Place the tubular construction of the handlebar in
direct opposite to the lower part of the handlebar.
2. Position the guide screw in the lower pipe in the
handle.
3. Center one of the holes for the fixing screw to the
hole in the handle.
4. Fit the screw, washer, and knob. Tighten the knobs
properly.
5. Use enclosed cable holder to secure the cables to
the handle.

WARNING! Wear heavy duty gloves when
you handle the cutting equipment. The blade
is very sharp and cuts can easily occur.
Let your service agent regularly check the product
and make essential adjustments and repairs.
Replace any damaged, worn or broken parts.
Use only original accessories.

Assembly

Note: Do not overstretch the cables when mounting.
If the wire is tensioned too tight, damage may occur
if the handle is folded to transport position.
6. Place the cables around the hook at the bottom of
the handle.

To adjust the handle height

1. Loosen the lower knobs.
For cord powered model LC 141C,
disconnect the cord.
