Design
Since the bodyshell has a modular design, the Citan offers a variety of variants. There are three different floor
assemblies allowing for three different wheelbases with various sidewall variants (with or without sliding door).
The same rear portal is used for all rear end variants (rear-end doors/liftgate).

The bodyshell of the Citan has largely been taken over
from Renault (except engine hood and liftgate). The
Citan demonstrated a high level of robustness during
rough road/hydro-pulse tests, meaning that no signif-
icant modifications to the bodyshell were necessary.
Only the detachable parts were modified.
