Before requesting service for this unit,
check the table
below
for a possible
cause of the
problem you are experiencing.
Some simple checks
or a
minor adjustment on your
part
may
eliminate the
problem and
restore
proper operation.

if
the connecting cords are
damaged.

the main
menu
appears

TV
screen, press

mode
is
set correctly

to
your TV

Switch the input selector
on your
TV

the unit

signal
applied to
some
programs could affect picture quality.
Disconnect the playback device
in
question
and con nect
it
directly
to
your
TV.
This unit
does not have
a
tuner to receive
TV
broadcasting.
You must connect
this unit to
an external tuner to record
TV programs
(page 18).

Multi-angles are not recorded on

DVD-video

back.
•The angle-change
operation
is
whenever
possible as long as the
disc contains
a
multi-angle
portion. Actual change
will
be performed when
the portion has
come
up.
•The DVD-video
prohibits changing
angles.
Try changing
the angle using the DVD-video's
menu.
